In continuation to the Commission’s Notice No. 71-Con/PSC dt. 30.09.2021 regarding Clerkship Examination, 2019, the Commission has decided to call 9693 candidates of different categories in order of merit from the merit list published under the Commission’s aforesaid Notice dt. 30.09.2021 to appear for Computer Type Test as per schedule to be fixed by the Commission in due course. The list of 9693 candidates is given in Annexure-A. Candidates are being called in the ratio of 1:1.4 against vacancies in the respective categories in order of merit. All candidates securing the same marks as that of the last selected candidate of that particular category have been called for the Computer Type Test. Candidates will appear in Computer Type Test subject to their being eligible after document verification. Candidates have to qualify in the Computer Type Test to be eligible for being enlisted in the Final Merit List subject to the condition that the candidates will fulfill the eligibility criteria as stipulated in clause 4 of the advertisement No. 05/2019 [ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali) vide Finance Dept. Notification No. 1243-F(P) dt. 02.03.2016]. Recommendation will be made from the Final Merit List as per available vacancies in the respective categories. It may be noted that mere appearance in the Computer Type Test and/or qualifying in the same does not guarantee employment/appointment. Before the Computer Type Test, verification of documents will be undertaken in online mode. Candidates will have to upload their documents by accessing the link at https://wbpsc.examsonline.co.in between 12.00 noon on 22.12.2021 and 12.00 midnight on 05.01.2022. Instructions for uploading of documents are given at Annexure-B and Annexure-C below. If any candidate fails to upload relevant documents within the stipulated date and time, it would be presumed that the candidate is not interested to take part in the Computer Type Test and his/her candidature will not be considered for the Final Merit List, irrespective of marks obtained in written examination, without any further reference to him/her The following documents will have to be scanned and uploaded at https://wbpsc.examsonline.co.in in between 22.12.2021 and 05.01.2022. (i) Recent passport sized coloured photograph. (ii) Govt. photo identity proof (Aadhaar/EPIC/Passport/Driving Licence) (iii) Admit Card of Madhyamik/equivalent examination showing the date of birth and language(s) studied. (iv) Certificate & Mark sheet confirming passing of Madhyamik or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Council. (v) SC/ST/OBC Certificate, if applicable. (vi) Current ‘NCL’ certificate (for OBC candidates only). (vii) Certificate/relevant document confirming Meritorious Sport persons/Ex-Servicemen, if applicable. (viii) PWD certificate, if applicable. F. All the documents mentioned above will have to be produced before a Group-A Govt. officer and a certificate in the format prescribed at ‘Annexure-C’ will have to be obtained from the officer and uploaded at “https://wbpsc.examsonline.co.in” along with the scanned copies of the above certificates/documents.

The link for the list given below, displays the roll numbers of 1213 candidates who have not uploaded the documents as per Commission’s Notice No. 103 P.S.C./Con Dt. 16/12/2021. It is accordingly presumed that the candidates are not interested to take part in the Computer Type Test and their candidature will not be considered for the Final Merit List, irrespective of marks obtained in written examination, without any further reference to him/her. Concession in age :
The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for S.C. & S.T. candidates and by 3 years for B.C. (non-creamy layer) candidates. In the case of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), the upper age limit is relaxable upto 45 years. No relaxation is applicable to S.C./S.T./B.C. candidates of other States as they shall be treated as general candidates. Upper age limit is also relaxable for ExServicemen who have put in not less than six months’ continuous service in any rank (whether as a Combatant or as a NonCombatant ) in the Armed Forces of the Union. Such Ex- Servicemen shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post/service for which he seeks appointment by more than 3(three) years, he shall be deemed to have satisfied the condition regarding age limit.
SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. BC (non-creamy layer) candidates of West Bengal are, however, required to pay usual fee as aforesaid. NO EXEMPTION OF FEE IS AVAILABLE TO SC/ST/BC CANDIDATES OF OTHER STATES. No claim for refund of the fee will be entertained nor will it be held in reserve for any other examination.
