SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 Exam

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be organizing the SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 Exam, a nationwide examination to select individuals for non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in Group-C of the General Central Service. This examination opens the path to employment in various ministries, departments, and government offices in India. The selected candidates for multi-tasking staff positions will receive a salary at Pay Level-1 as per the 7th Pay Commission’s Pay Matrix, with a basic pay range of Rs. 5,200-20,200 plus a Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800.

Every year, the Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff Exam) in three distinct stages. SSC is organizing the SSC MTS 2023 Exam (Multitasking Staff) to hire individuals for various positions, including the role of:

• On the 30th of June 2023, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC MTS Notification 2023, which will declare the openings for SSC MTS Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) & Multi-Tasking Staff.
• The SSC MTS examination is conducted through a Computer Based Examination (Objective test)

SSC MTS Vacancy 2023 (Revised)

The SSC MTS & Havaldar Vacancy 2023 Notification will accompany the SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 release. For the 2022-23 period, the Staff Selection Commission has announced a total of 12,523 vacancies, including 11,994 for Multi-Tasking Staff and 529 for Havaldar positions in CBIC and CBN. SSC MTS 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the SSC MTS 2023 Exam, candidates need to fulfil three key criteria. Before completing the applications for the SSC MTS Exam, candidates must be familiar with the essential Eligibility Criteria related to nationality, educational qualifications, and age restrictions. SSC MTS Citizenship:

The candidate has to fall under either of the categories:

• A citizen of India.
• The subject of Nepal
• The subject of Bhutan.
• Tibetan Refugee
• Person who is an Indian but have migrated from Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania.

SSC MTS Age Limit

The Recruitment Rules of various User Departments outline the age limits for the posts as follows:

1. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and should not exceed 25 years old. They should be born between 02-01-1999 and 01-01-2006.
2. For the age range of 18-27 years, candidates should be born between 02-01-1997 and 01-01-2006.
3. In addition to the aforementioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories receive age relaxation as per Government Rules.
4. Regarding the Havaldar position in CBIC and CBN, Department of Revenue, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 27 years old. They should be born between 02-01-1996 and 01-01-2006 to be eligible for applying.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the SSC MTS 2023 Exam, candidates must have completed and passed the Matriculation (10th class) examination or its equivalent from a recognized State Board, University, or Institute.

SSC MTS 2023 Online Application

Commencing in the third week of June 2023, the online registration for SSC MTS 2023 will initiate alongside the announcement of the SSC MTS Notification 2023. The notification will provide the deadline for submitting online applications for the SSC MTS 2023 exam. 

SSC MTS 2023 Application Fee

• 100/- is the application fee for SSC MTS 2023.
• Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the fee.
• Female candidates are also exempted from the application fee for the SSC MTS 2023 exam.

SSC MTS 2023 Language for CBT

For the first time, the SSC MTS computer-based exam will be conducted in a choice of “15 languages”. Candidates are required to select their preferred language while completing the application form

SSC MTS 2023 Admit Card

Firstly, the Staff Selection Commission releases the Application Status for SSC MTS, followed by the release of the Admit Card for each stage. Candidates are required to download the SSC MTS 2023 Admit Card solely from the official website, as no physical or digital copies will be sent to them.

SSC MTS 2023 Paper-1 Exam Pattern

The updated exam structure for SSC MTS Paper-I has been published together with the SSC MTS Notification 2023. The exam will be conducted in a computerized format and will be divided into two sessions. Both sessions are required to be attempted by candidates. In Session II, for each incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of 1 mark, while Session-I does not carry any negative marking. • This position is categorized as a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial role, and it is available in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India across different States/Union Territories.
• As per the guidelines of the 7th pay commission, the in-hand salary for SSC MTS falls within the range of Rs 18,000 to Rs 22,000 per month, depending on the job post and the allocated city.

SSC MTS 2023 Answer Key

SSC will release the SSC MTS Tier 1 Answer Key on the official website approximately one month after the examination. Initially, a provisional answer key for SSC MTS will be made available, which will be followed by the final answer key. It’s important to note that an answer key won’t be released for SSC MTS Tier-2 and Skill tests.

Candidates are required to exclusively download the SSC MTS Answer Key from the official website using their unique registration number and password.

SSC MTS 2023 Result

After the examinations, the Staff Selection Commission of India will release the result for SSC MTS 2023. 

SSC MTS 2023 Cut-Off

The SSC MTS Cut-off is the minimum required score for candidates to qualify for the next stage of the exam. The cut-off will be announced twice, initially for Paper 1 (Tier-1) and subsequently for Paper 2 (Tier-2). The cut-offs are disclosed concurrently with the declaration of results.
