A West Bengal ICDS Supervisor is a person who is in charge of managing the operation of Anganwadi Centres. These centres are government-run facilities that provide nutrition, health, and education services to young children and pregnant women.
The minimum qualification required for applying for WBPSC ICDS Supervisor Recruitment Examination 2023 is Graduation, although higher qualified candidates can also apply. In addition to that the candidate also have to be between the ages of 18 years and 39 years in order to sit for the examination.
The WB ICDS Supervisor exam is conducted in two stages, Preliminary and Mains. The preliminary examination is objective in nature having 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark and the duration is 1 hour. On the other hand the main examination has four papers each carrying 100 marks.
The subjects included in the WB ICDS Supervisor preliminary exam syllabus are General Knowledge, Arithmetic Proficiency and Reasoning. On the other hand the main examination syllabus has English, First Language (Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali), General Studies and Current Affairs, Arithmetic.
