The eligibility criteria for the WBPSC Clerkship 2023 exam is mentioned in detail below.
The minimum age for appearing for the WBPSC Clerkship 2023 exam is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years. Age relaxation is available for OBC candidates for up to three years and for SC/ST candidates for up to five years.
A candidate must have cleared Madhyamik (10th Standard exam) to apply for the WBPSC Clerkship 2023 Examination.
The WBPSC Clerks belong to the Pay Level 6 as per the West Bengal 6th Pay Commission’s (ROPA 2019) classification. Earlier, the entry pay was Rs. 8,840 and commissions were at a grade pay of Rs. 2600. The new basic salary is Rs. 22,700 (revised on Jan 2020). The WBPSC Clerkship exam is held to recruit candidates for the positions of lower division assistant or lower division clerk, as well as other similar positions in the Secretariat, Directorates, District offices, and equivalent positions in regional offices (including Kolkata) under the Govt.
Candidates must have a pass certificate in the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education's Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent. The candidate must be fluent in Bengali (reading, writing, and speaking).

1. A certificate from a qualified eye specialist demonstrating the present state of the eyes. If there is an error, the lens/glass power should be indicated. Even if the error is minor, the candidate must wear a correction glass/lens to show it to the Medical Board.
2. A pathological report of Urine (R/E) from any qualified pathologist, stating clearly the 1, sugar, cast, and cells of urine.
3. A qualified radiologist's X-ray report of the chest with a plate.
4. Two recent passport-sized photos.
5. One address proof with picture identification, one self-attested photocopy of that identification, and one photocopy of the selection letter.
