Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2020-Declaration of revised result of Tier-I for appearing in Tier-II (Descriptive Paper)-reg.

The result of Tier-I of CHSLE, 2020 was declared by the Commission on 27.10.2021 wherein 45,429 candidates were shortlisted to appear in Tier-II examination. However, it has come to the notice of the Commission that there were few errors in Final Answer Keys of the examination held on 10.08.2021 (Shift-3) for 156 VH candidates. On corrections of these errors, the result of the said 156 candidates has been revised. The above revision has also caused very minor change in normalized marks of other candidates. Therefore, the result of Tier-I of CHSLE-2020 has been revised.

Based on the above revision, 51 additional candidates (List-1) have been shortlisted for appearing in Tier-II examination.

Revised marks of the qualified/ non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Commission from 14-01-2022 to 31-01-2022.

Admission Certificates of the candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the respective Regional Offices.

The rest of the contents of the result write-up dated 27-10-2021 shall remain unchanged.

SSC has released the cut-off for SSC CHSL (10+2) 2019-20 Tier-I exam on 15th January 2021. The SSC CHSL exam is conducted in three stages:

Tier II paper is a descriptive paper of 100 marks in ‘pen and paper’ mode. This paper is comprised of writing essay/letter/application/precies etc.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern (tier III)

 

This is skill test/ typing test conducted on the computers for shortlisted candidates. This test is of qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in this test will not be included in final merit list.  The medium of Typing Test is Hindi or English. The candidates will have to opt for the medium of Typing Test in the Online Application form.

Mode of Selection

  1. Candidates will be shortlisted for tier II Examination on the basis of the marks they obtained in Tier-I Examination. Normalized marks of candidates will be used to determine merit and for final selection.
  2. There will be separate category wise cut-offs in Tier-I and subsequent tiers for different posts i.e. (i) DEO, (ii) DEO Grade ‘A’ AND (iii) LDC/ JSA and PA/ SA
  3. Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III Examination on the basis of the scores they obtained in Tier-I + Tier-II Examination.
  4. Skill test in Tier-III for DEOs is mandatory for all the qualified candidates.
  5. Typing Test in Tier-III for posts other than DEOs is mandatory for all candidates.

Candidates can pay the fee through SBI Challan/Net banking and any credit or debit cards. Application fee for SSC CHSL 2021 is INR 100. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) are exempted from paying the application fees. Female candidates, as well as Ex-Servicemen, are also exempted from paying the SSC CHSL 2021 Exam fees. The particulars of application fee are given below in the table.

Quantitative Aptitude:

Number Systems: Computation of Whole Number, Decimal and Fractions, Relationship between numbers.
Fundamental arithmetical operations: Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time and work.
Algebra: Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds (simple problems) and Graphs of Linear Equations.
