Professor Samit Ray

Professor Samit Ray is an education entrepreneur of Eastern India and the pioneer of professional training for competitive examinations for government jobs. He is the Founder-Chairman of RICE Group. Prof. Ray started a modest training institute to provide preparatory training for different State and Central Government services in the early 80s. In 2004, he established Adamas International School, where he pioneered the idea of ‘day boarding’ and a day school running simultaneously. Later on, Adamas Knowledge City at Barasat was established. The Knowledge City has been built with the concept of a "City within the City" and holds an array of Educational Institutes - Adamas University, Adamas World School, Adamas Institute of Professional Studies etc. Professor Samit Ray is the Founder Chancellor of the University. He is also the founder of two charitable trusts – the Sachis Kiran Memorial Trust, named after his late father and Samit Ray Foundation Mr. Ray has been honored with many prestigious national and international awards and is an inspiration to millions of students in Eastern India.

Chandan Majumdar

Chandan Majumdar is a professional accountant by education with deep experience in Finance, Marketing, Sales and Operations. He has been part of the ABP Group for over 2 decades and held leadership roles since 2004. From 2015-2020 he was a Member of the Board of Directors of ABP Pvt Ltd, one of India’s largest Media Groups. He joined RICE in September 2020 as Group CEO with the mission to transform RICE into a national Edu Tech player.
